MonkeyBar wins Engineering Excellence Award 2007

MonkeyBar® has been awarded the prestigious Engineering Excellence Award 2007 for Innovations and Inventions.
Mr Julian Mitton, CEO of Monkey Steel, accepted the award on behalf of the management team at the gala dinner presentation at the Westin Hotel on Friday 21 September. The award recognises the excellence in the product’s design and its automated production processes as well as the economic and sustainability advantages the product provides to users in the construction industry.
In his acceptance speech Mr Mitton recognised the hard work and dedication of the company’s engineering team, the outstanding efforts of the company’s Australian and international partners and the specific work of MTN Tooling Pty Ltd, whose Managing Director Mr Tony Mandile, attended the event.
The Engineering Excellence Awards are the most prestigious awards available for the technology in Australia. As a winner of the Sydney Division, the largest regional division of Engineers Australia, MonkeyBar® has now entered the National Awards scheme for Engineers Australia.
