Following the recent launch of its automated production facility in Brisbane, Monkey Steel is now receiving significant orders for MonkeyBar products across a range of projects in South East Queensland.
Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel and Residences – Rapcivic Contractors
Neumann Steel has won a significant contract to supply MonkeyBar products to the new landmark Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel project under development by the Raptis Group. Construction of the dual tower project is well underway and uses ‘L’ shaped MonkeyBars within the diaphragm walls and barrette columns of the basement levels for slab connections. Many further MonkeyBar applications are being discussed for use throughout the towers themselves.
Mr Christian Gomez, Rapcivic Contractors’ Project Coordinator for the new Hilton Hotel construction in the Gold Coast said:
‘Rapcivic is a building company that prides itself on being at the forefront of modern building techniques and the MonkeyBar construction system fits well with Rapcivic’s model of fast track structures with the highest structural integrity.’
Julian Mitton the CEO of Monkey Steel said of the result:
‘We are delighted to have a builder of Rapcivic’s reputation take a lead in the use of the MonkeyBar construction system for high-rise developments. Our product’s versatility and quality set it apart from the competitive products and save the builder money. We think there are significant further indirect cost savings available to the builder through the ease of our product’s application on site and the reduction in installation related on-costs.’
